I'm finally posting my Stampede pictures. It was awesome! I got to see (and pet) lots of animals: cows, sheep, horsies, and so on.
And the cops here are so cute, with their little cowboy hats.
And the food! Deep fried oreos, deep fried strawberry shortcake, deep fried cheesecake...it's crazy. But I just saw an Oprah episode where she went to a state fair in Texas and had deep friend peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and deep fried butter.
I didn't get a cowboy hat, but I do have a vest and earrings in the shape of cowboy boots.
Besides, I like the army helmet look much better.
