Climbing a volcano

I love this picture because the igneous rock in the background makes it look like this a post-apocalyptic world where the only remnants of our consumptive and multi-national society are old sweat-shirts from the Gap.

Even though I didn't see any lava, the rock was still so hot, you could put twigs near it and it would light on fire.

This sign makes total sense to me. I want to be a vulcanologist!
