This is Old City Hall. The architect, E.J. Lennox, apparently went 22.5 times overbudget. And he made grotesques of local politicians, which is all kinds of awesome.
The Canada Permanent Trust Building is all kinds of Art Deco fabulousness, none of which comes across well in my pictures. So I'll add a photo of me trying to open up the vault. Mmm...money...
