My friend just sent me an e-mail that warns that carjackings have been on the rise in my area. Since I'm too poor/cheap/environmentally friendly to own a car, I figured that it wasn't much use to me, and forwarded it to my mother.
She wrote back that the best way to prevent carjackings is to drive an old Honda Civic. It's worked for her for years. It made me laugh.
